DISCONNECT USB CABLE.

The unit cannot correctly establish the connection to the PC or printer. Disconnect and then reconnect the USB cable.

You cannot turn off this unit while it is connected to a PC or a DVD burner.

About recovery

If faulty management information is found when an SD card is accessed, one of the following messages may appear. Be sure to follow directions in the messages. (Repairing may take time depending on the error.)

CONTROL DATA ERROR HAS BEEN DETECTED. (SD CARD)

or

THUMBNAIL DATA ERROR IS DETECTED.

The following message is displayed when abnormal management information is detected when the scenes are displayed in thumbnail. To perform the repair, select the scene with [°] in the thumbnail using the cursor button, and start the playback. Please be aware that if the repair fails, scenes with [°] will be deleted, and will not be able to be restored.

SOME SCENES NEED REPAIRING. PLAY SCENES TO BE REPAIRED. (IRREPARABLE SCENES WILL BE DELETED.)

Use a sufficiently charged battery or the AC adaptor.

Depending on the condition of the data, it may not be possible to completely repair the data.

If the recovery fails, you will no longer be able to play back the scenes recorded before the power went off.

When data recorded on another device is recovered, it may not be possible to play back the data on this unit or the other device.

If recovery fails, turn the power of the unit off and on again after waiting a while. If recovery fails repeatedly, format an SD card on the unit. Please be aware that if an SD card is formatted, then all the data recorded on the card will be erased. Back up important data on a PC, DVD disc etc.

If the thumbnail information is recovered, displaying the thumbnails may become slower.
