2UnderFiles, in the Search text box, type all or part
ofa file name, or the extension of the file.
3ClickSearch.
Thewindow that appears displays the file names
thatcontain the text that you typed.
4Checkthe files that you want to restore, and then
clickOK.
5Repeatsteps 2through 4to add more files to the
listof those that Norton 360 restores.
Toselect an individual file within a file category to
restore
1Inthe Norton 360 main window, click Backup, and
thenclick Restore Files.
2Inthe Restore Files window, under Files, click
Browsefor Files and Folders.
3Inthe left pane, under Show Results for, click a file
categoryfrom which you want to restore files.
4Inthe right pane, do one of the following:
1Checkthe files that you want to restore.
1Ifyou want to restore all the files in that
categoryor folder, check the check box in the
headerclose to Backup Item.
5Repeatsteps 3through 4to add more files to the
listof those that Norton 360 restores.
Youcan use the Selected Files option in the left
paneunder ShowResults for to view all the selected
filesthat you want to restore.
6ClickOK.
Choosing a restore destination
Whenyou restore files from a backup, you can choose
whereNorton 360 places the restored files. You can
restorethe files to a separate folder of your choice or
theiroriginal location. By default, Norton 360 selects
theoriginal locations of the files.
