Removing all devices from Intrusion Preventionexclusion list
Ifyou are sure that a device on your network is safe,
youcan change the trust level of the device to Full
Trust.These trusted devices can be excluded from
IntrusionPrevention scan. Excluding Full Trust devices
fromIntrusion Prevention scan saves the scan time
andimproves the network speed of your computer.
Whenyou exclude a Full Trust device from Intrusion
Preventionscan, Norton 360 does not scan any
informationthat is received from this device. The Full
Trustdevices that are excluded from Intrusion
Preventionscan are added to Intrusion Prevention
exclusionlist.
Ifyou find that any of the devices that you excluded
fromIntrusion Prevention scan is infected, you can
purgethe saved exclusion list and remove all the
devices.
Youcan purge the saved exclusion list under the
followingcircumstances:
1Anyof the devices that you excluded from Intrusion
Preventionscan is infected.
1Anyof the devices that you excluded from Intrusion
Preventionscan attempts to infect your computer.
1Yourhome network is infected.
Whena device on your network attempts to infect your
computer,AutoBlock stops all the access requests from
thisdevice. If you add this device to the Intrusion
Preventionexclusion list, Norton 360 removes the
devicefrom the exclusion list.
Whenyou remove all the devices from the saved
exclusionlist, Intrusion Prevention scans every request
fromall the devices that access your computer.

exclusionlist
