fromQuick Controls in the Settings window.
wIfyou are connected to the Internet, Automatic
LiveUpdatedownloads product updates and definition
updatesevery hour. If you have an Integrated Services
DigitalNetwork (ISDN) router that is set to
automaticallyconnect to your Internet service provider
(ISP),it may incur charges each time. If you do not want
thissetup, you can turn off the automatic connection
onyour ISDN router, or turn off the Automatic
LiveUpdateoption.
Toturn on Automatic LiveUpdate from Quick Controls
1Inthe Norton 360 main window, click Settings.
2Inthe Settings window, under Quick Controls,
checkAutomatic LiveUpdate.
Toturn off Automatic LiveUpdate from Quick Controls
1Inthe Norton 360 main window, click Settings.
2Inthe Settings window, under Quick Controls,
uncheckAutomatic LiveUpdate.
3Inthe Select the duration drop-down list, select
howlong you want to turn off Automatic
LiveUpdate,and then click OK.

Checkingfor updates manually

Ifyou disconnect your PC from the Internet, Symantec
recommendsthat you check for Norton 360 updates
afteryou reconnect.
Tocheck for updates manually
1Inthe Norton 360 main window, click PC Security,
andthen click Run LiveUpdate.
2Inthe Norton LiveUpdate window, when the
LiveUpdateis completed successfully, click Close.
