AutoBlockstops traffic between your computer and a
specificcomputer. If you want to stop all traffic to and
fromyour computer, you can use the Block All
NetworkTraffic option.
IfAutoBlock blocks a computer or computers that you
needto access, you can turn off AutoBlock.
Toturn off or turn on AutoBlock
1Inthe Norton 360 main window, click Settings.
2Inthe Settings window, under Detailed Settings,
clickFirewall.
3Onthe Intrusionand Browser Protection tab, under
IntrusionPrevention, in the IntrusionAutoBlock
row,click Configure.
4Inthe Intrusion AutoBlock window, under
AutoBlock,do one of the following:
1Toturn off Intrusion AutoBlock, click Off.
1Toturn on Intrusion AutoBlock, click On
(Recommended),and then in the AutoBlock
attackingcomputers for drop-down list, select
howlong you want to turn on AutoBlock.
5ClickOK.
UnblockingAutoBlocked computers
Insome cases, benign network activity can appear to
besimilar to an attack and AutoBlock blocks the
networkactivity automatically to ensure that your
computeris safe. The list of computers that AutoBlock
hascurrently blocked may include the computer that
youshould be able to communicate with.
Ifa computer that you need to access appears on the
listof blocked computers, you can unblock it. You may
wantto reset your AutoBlock list if you have changed
yourprotection settings. To reset the AutoBlock list,
youcan unblock all of the computers that are on the
listat one time.
