About backup settings

Communications Shows the communication port that

PortNorton products use to communicate with each other over the network.

If you change the communication port number on your computer, you must change it on each computer that is connected to your Network Security Map. In addition, when you find more computers that use the Remote Monitoring Setup process, ensure that the same port number is used on every computer.

w Though this communication port is configurable, Symantec recommends that you do not change the port number to avoid potential conflicts with other well-known networking ports. If you change the communication port number, you must use a port number in the range 1-65535.
