Ifthe traditional scan completes while the Insight
Networkscan is still running, you can view the Insight
NetworkScan progress status.
TheInsight Network scan supports Quick Scan, Insight
Networkcontext-menu scan, Instant Messenger Scan,
andDownload Insight scan. It does not support Email
Scan,Full System Scan, and Auto-Protect scan.
Ifthe Insight Protection option is turned on, you can
manuallyrun the following types of Insight Network
scans:
1InsightNetwork Quick Scan
Norton360 simultaneously performs a traditional
QuickScan and an Insight Network Quick Scan to
scanthe areas of your computer that the viruses
oftentarget. Norton 360 also performs an Insight
NetworkQuick Scan simultaneously with an Idle
QuickScan.
wTheInsight Network scan does not support a Quick
Scanthat runs as a part of an Idle Full System Scan.
1InsightNetwork context-menu scan
Whenyou right-click a file, the shortcut menu
displaysNorton 360 and then Insight Network
Scan.You can use this command to scan a file using
bothlocal definitions and definitions that are
hostedin the Cloud.
wThisInsight Network Scan command is available
onlyfor single file.
Turning off or turning on Insight ProtectionInsightProtection option lets Norton 360 perform an
InsightNetwork scan on your computer
