Turning off Remote Monitoring

When you turn off Remote Monitoring, you stop remote monitoring of the computers that are connected to your network.

 

You can turn off Remote Monitoring for the following:

All of the computers that you remotely monitor

An individual computer that you remotely monitor

You can turn off Remote Monitoring only after you

 

complete the Remote Monitoring Setup process.

To turn off Remote Monitoring for all computers

1In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

2In the Settings window, under Detailed Settings, click My Network.

3In the NetworkSecurityMap row, click Configure.

4On the left side of the Network Security Map window, under Remote Monitoring, click Disable.

5In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.

To turn off Remote Monitoring for an individual computer

1In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

2In the Settings window, under Detailed Settings, click My Network.

3In the NetworkSecurityMap row, click Configure.

4In the Network Security Map window, in the network map, click the computer for which you want to disable Remote Monitoring.

5In the device details area, next to Remote Monitoring, click Disable.

6In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.

You can manually add a computer or device to the Network Security Map.
