Norton360 automatically detects the idle state of your
computerand runs a Full System Scan. However, you
canschedule a Full System Scan according to your
preferences.You can also set up a schedule for a Quick
Scanand custom virus scans that you create.
Youcan schedule scans to run automatically on specific
datesand times or at periodic intervals. If the scheduled
scanbegins when you use your computer, you can run
thescan in the background instead of stopping your
work.Norton 360 lets you schedule the Full System
Scan,Quick Scan, and custom virus scans. However,
youcannot schedule the Drive Scan, Folder Scan, and
FileScan.
Youcan also set up Norton 360 to turn off your
computeror move it to sleep mode or hibernate mode
automaticallywhen the scheduled scan is complete.

Schedulinga scan

Youhave complete flexibility in scheduling custom
scans.When you select how frequently you want a scan
torun (daily, weekly, or monthly), you are presented
withadditional options. For example, you can request
amonthly scan, and then schedule it to occur on
multipledays instead.
Inaddition to the custom scans that you create, Norton
360lets you schedule the Full System Scan and Quick
Scan.
Youcan also schedule the scan to run in specific time
intervals(hours or days). You can schedule a custom
scanin the Scans window.
wNorton360 lets you select multiple dates if you
schedulea monthly scan.
