Yourproduct needs to be activated to use the online
backupfeature. The first time you configure online
backup,Norton 360 connects to your Norton Account
andrequests that you sign in to the account. You may
haveestablished a Norton Account when you installed
Norton360 or when you installed another Norton
product.
Tosign in to your Norton Account, you use the email
addressand the password that you supplied when you
createdyour Norton Account. You only need to sign in
toyour Norton Account the first time that you
configureonline backup. Norton 360 retains your
accountinformation so you do not have to sign in again.
Ifyou do not have a Norton Account when you
configureonline backup for the first time, Norton 360
letsyou create one.
Symantecprovides 2 GB of online storage for each
Norton360 product key. You can share the online
storagespace that is allocated to you using your Norton
Accountamong your computers. For example, you have
twocomputers having Norton 360 installed on it and
registeredwith the same Norton Account. You can
sharethe storage space among your two computers.
Youuse 1 GB of online storage space for your first
computer.When you activate the online storage for
yoursecond computer using the same Norton Account,
thatcomputer can use the remaining 1 GB of space.
wTouse online backup, you must configure the Metered
BroadbandMode option in the My Network window
toNoLimit. The My Network option is available in the
Settingswindow.
Purchasing more online storage space
YourNorton 360 subscription comes with an allotment
ofsecure online storage space. When Norton 360
performsan online backup, it calculates the amount
