Toview the files using Norton Insight
1Inthe Norton 360 main window, click PC Security,
andthen click Run Norton Insight.
2Inthe Norton Insight - Application Ratings
window,select an option from the Show drop-down
listto view a category of files.
Youmay need to scroll the window to view all the
filesthat are listed in the details area.
3ClickClose.
Torefresh the list of files

window,at the top of the file icon, click the refresh
icon.

Checkingthe trust level of a file

NortonInsight lets you check the details of the Files
ofInterest that are available on your computer. You
canview details such as signature of the file and the
dateon which the file was installed. You can also view
detailssuch as the trust level, stability details,
communityusage, resource usage, and the source of
thefile. You can use the Locate option to find the
locationof the file on your computer. When you
right-clicka file that is available on your computer, the
shortcutmenu displays Norton 360 option and then
NortonFileInsight option.You can use the options to
checkthe details of a File of Interest.
wNorton360 displays the Norton File Insight option
onlywhen you right-click a File of Interest. In Windows
Safemode, you cannot access this option for any file.
Norton360 also categorizes any file for which you open
theFile Insight window to view details as a File of
Interest.
TheSymantec server stores the hash value and trust
leveldetails of the File of Interest. The server provides
thefile details immediately after you open the Norton
Insight- Application Ratings window. However, you
canuse theCheck Trust Now option in the FileInsight
