Securingyour Norton 360 Settings using a password

Youcan secure your Norton 360 Settings from
unauthorizedaccess by setting up a password for your
productsettings. The Settings Password Protection
optionin the AdministrativeSettings window lets you
secureyour Norton 360 Settings using a password.
Afteryou set up a password for Norton 360 settings
youmust enter the password each time to view or
configureyour product settings.
Bydefault, the Settings Password Protection option
isturned off. You must turn on the Settings Password
Protectionoption to set up a password for your product
settings.
wThepassword must be between 8 and 256 characters
inlength.
Tosecure your Norton 360 Settings using a password
1Inthe Norton 360 main window, click Settings.
2Inthe Settings window, under Detailed Settings,
clickAdministrative Settings.
3UnderProduct Security, in the Settings Password
Protectionrow, move the On/Off switch to the left
tothe On position.
4Doone of the following:
1Inthe Settings Password Protection row, click
Configure.
1Inthe Settings window, click Apply.
5Inthe dialog box that appears, in the Password box,
typea password.
6Inthe Confirm Password box, type the password
again.
7ClickOK.
8Inthe Settings window, click Close.
