Turningoff Norton 360 Settings password

Youcan protect your Norton 360 Settings with a
passwordusing the Settings Password Protection
option.If the Settings Password Protection option is
turnedon, you need to enter the Settings password
eachtime to view or configure your Norton 360
settings.You cannot access the product settings
withoutproviding your Settings password.
wIncase you forget your Settings password, you can
resetit using the resetsettings password optionin the
SelectUninstall Preference window.
Youcan turn off the Settings Password Protection
optionif you do not require password protection for
Norton360 settings.
Toturn off Norton 360 Settings password
1Inthe Norton 360 main window, click Settings.
2Inthe Settings window, under Detailed Settings,
clickAdministrative Settings.
3Inthe dialog box that appears, in the Password box,
typeyour Settings password, and then click OK.
4Inthe SettingsPassword Protection row, move the
On/Offswitch to the right to the Off position.
5Inthe Settings window, under Product Security,
inthe SettingsPassword Protection row, move the
On/Offswitch to the right to the Off position.
6ClickApply, and then click Close.

Resettingyour Norton 360 Settings password

Ifyou forget your Norton 360 Settings password, you
canreset the password. You can reset your Norton 360
Settingspassword using the reset settings password
optionin the Select Uninstall Preference window.
Toaccess the SelectUninstall Preference window, you
mustchoose to uninstall Norton 360. However, you
neednot uninstall the product to reset your Settings
password.
