11 Configure the settings relating to images and audio [Image/Audio]

Note

This function is also useful to automatically set the camera in a specific mode when the power of the camera is turned on.

The self return function works even when the setup menu is displayed.

[Self return time]

Select a waiting time (amount of time until the camera starts the selected operation after the end of the manual operations) from the following.

10s/ 20s/ 30s/ 1min/ 2min/ 3min/ 5min/ 10min/ 20min/ 30min/ 60min

Default: 1min

[Image hold]

Select “On” or “Off” to determine whether or not to hold the still image on the screen (that is displayed at the last moment before the camera started to move to a preset position) until the camera has moved to the preset position.

On: A still image will be held on the screen until the camera has moved to the preset position.

Off: Images from the camera will be displayed even when the camera is moving to the preset position.

Default: Off

[Upside-down] SW396 SC386

Select “On” or “Off” to determine whether or not to turn the image upside-down.

On: The image is turned upside-down.

Off: The image is not turned upside-down.

Default: Off

IMPORTANT

Only use the upside-down function to check the image before installing the camera. Set this function to “Off” after installing the camera.

[Upside-down] SW395 SC385

Select “On (desktop)” or “Off (ceiling)” to determine how the camera is to be installed.

On (desktop): Select this when the camera is to be installed with the dome side up.

Off (ceiling): Select this when the camera is to be installed with the dome side down.

Default: Off (ceiling)

[Extra optical zoom]/[Extra zoom]

Select the extra optical zoom or extra zoom setting from the following.

On (Max X36): Images can be zoomed in on with the optical zoom (1x - 18x) and the extra optical zoom (higher zoom factors, up to 36x).

Off (Max X18): Does not use the extra optical zoom.
