10 Configure the basic settings of the camera [Basic]

Note

When “FTP error” is selected for “Save trigger”, images will be saved with the image capture size selected on the [FTP img. trans.] tab of the “Network” page.

When “H.264” is selected for “Recording format”, select the image capture size for “H.264 recording” - “Image capture size” on the [SD memory card] tab.

When “Alarm input” is selected for “Save trigger”, images will be saved with the image capture size selected on the [Alarm] tab of the “Alarm” page.

H.264 recording

This setting is available only when “H.264” is selected for “Recording format” of the SD memory card.

When the second [Set] button on the “Setup” page is clicked, the settings for “H.264 recording” will be displayed on the bottom of the tab.

Constant bit rate: H.264 images will be recorded with the bit rate selected for “Max bit rate”.

Frame rate: H.264 images will be recorded with the frame rate selected for “Frame rate*”.

Select the frame rate for images to be recorded from the following. 1fps/ 3fps/ 5fps*/ 7.5fps*/ 10fps*/ 12fps*/ 15fps*/ 20fps*/ 30fps*

Note

When “Frame rate” is selected for “Recording priority”, this setting is available.

“Frame rate*” is limited by “Max bit rate”. For this reason, the frame rate may be lower than the specified value when any value marked with an asterisk (*) is selected.

Select the bit rate for images to be recorded from the following.
