Originating Link (dractLinkIndex)

Which WAN link this call originated on.

Originating Channel (dractChannel)

Which channel this call originated on.

Passed to Link (dractPassLinkIndex)

Which link this call was passed to.

Passed to Channel (dractPassChannel)

Which channel this call was passed to.

Number Dialed (dractNumberDialed)

The phone number that was used to dialed into the server (if this service is available from the exchange).

Calling Number (dractCallingPhone)

The phone number that was dialed from (if this service is available from the exchange).

Session Time (dractSessionTime)

The amount of time this call was/is active.

Remaining Time (dractRemainingSession)

The amount of time remaining in this session.

State (dractState)

Indicates current call progress.

setup(1)—Idle state waiting for call to be attached

alerting(2)—Channel is being alerted for transfer of call connecting on other WAN link

flash(3)—An incoming and outgoing call are contending for the same channel

online(4)—Call is actively being transferred through remote access server

sessiontime(5)—Call is transitioning to down state

clearForward(6)—Call is transitioning to down state

clearBackward(7)—Call is transitioning to down state

dead(8)—Call is disconnected

kill(9)—Call is disconnected by administrator

How Drop and Insert works

The Telco informs the RAS that a call is inbound on a specific channel. If the desired function for that channel is set for dropInsert then the RAS will redirect the call out another WAN port (see figure 58). In effect, it looks as if the RAS is not there.
