You can also program TV shows that you just want to watch

 

Press the green function button ('Watch' on the screen) instead of the red.

 

The TV show is stored in the memory for favourite shows. The line is

5Repeat steps 3to 8, until all recordings have been programmed.

6To end, press GUIDE/TV .

To find out how you can check which shows you have programmed, read the section on 'How to change or delete a programmed recording (TIMER)'.

7Insert a DVD ready for recording (not locked). The inserted disk is checked.

8Search the position on the disc where you want the recording to begin.

9Switch off the DVD recorder using STANDBY m .

The programmed recording functions only if the DVD recorder has been switched off using STANDBY m .

If one or more recordings have been programmed 'TIMER' will light up on the display.

Programming recordings with the VIDEO Plus+® System

Thanks to this programming system, you no longer need to tediously enter the date, programme number, start and finish time. All the information needed by the DVD recorder for programming is contained in the PlusCode programming number. This 9-digit PlusCode number is found in most TV listings magazine.

'Programming with the VIDEO Plus+® system' may not be possible without GUIDE Plus+® data (empty 'Grid' screen).

1Switch on the TV set. If required, select the programme number for the DVD recorder.

2Press TIMER s on the remote control. The 'Schedule' screen will appear

3Press the red function button ('VIDEO Plus+').

If this button is not visible in the menu line or without function, no GUIDE Plus+® data is yet available. Therefore, you cannot use programming with the VIDEO Plus+® system yet.
