11Press TIMER SET. The System will turn off and the red TIMER REC light will appear on the front of the System. Or, the System may switch to DVD mode instead. You may use the DVD Player during a timer recording.You may need to press VCR/TV on the remote to choose TV position so you can see the DVD picture at the TV.

If you want to use the VCR until time for the recording, don’t press TIMER SET until a few minutes before the recording should start. Or, press TIMER SET only when you know you won’t be using the VCR anymore (until after the recording). When the TIMER REC light is on or blinking, you cannot put the System in VCR mode by pressing VCR or SOURCE.You must first press TIMER SET to cancel the timer recording temporarily.Then, you can use the VCR features again.

To change incorrect information, press s or B to choose the item you want to change. Press o or p to adjust the information.

If a timer recording is set and the TIMER REC light is on, pressing STOP/EJECT CA will turn on the System and/or cancel the timer recording.The TIMER REC light will turn off. Press STOP/EJECT CA again to remove the tape.To use the VCR or watch TV through the System again, press VCR, then VCR/TV to put the VCR in VCR position again.

If there is no tape in the VCR when you press TIMER SET, the TIMER REC light will flash. Insert a tape.
