5.Connect the Changer Interface cable to the drive.

Confirm that the interface cable is connected to the correct bay

Caution: Connecting the interface cable to an incorrect bay port results in damage to the discs.

Install an add-on connector board if necessary

4.3Changing the SCSI ID on a DRM-7000

To alter the Changer’s SCSI ID, power the system OFF then press the SCSI ID switches located on the back of the unit in the lower left area. Pressing the switches causes the ID to change and the following message to appear on the LCD display.

ID = 6 ( 0 )

In this example, the Changer’s SCSI ID changes from SCSI ID 6 to SCSI ID 0.

Powering the system back ON resets the SCSI bus to the host computer. The new SCSI ID for the DRM-7000 is maintained until the SCSI ID switches on the back of the unit are altered.

4.4Reading SCSI Drive IDs from the DRM-7000

If all drives have been assigned separate SCSI IDs, a buzzer sounds once. If the same SCSI ID has been assigned to two or more drives, the buzzer sounds three times. Installing multiple
