1 SIGNAL indicators

Light to indicate the currently selected input signal. AUTO lights when the receiver is set to select the input signal automatically (page 38).

2 Program format indicators

These change according to which channels are active in digital sources.

L – Left front channel C – Center channel

R – Right front channel

SL – Left surround channel

S – Surround channel (mono) SR – Right surround channel SBL – Left surround back channel SB – Surround back channel (mono) SBR – Right surround back channel

LFE – Low frequency effects channel (the ((( ))) indicators light when an LFE signal is being input)

3 Digital format indicators

Light when a signal encoded in the corresponding format is detected (DSDPCM lights during DSD (Digital Stream Direct) to PCM conversion with SACDs).

4 S.RTRV

Lights when the Sound Retriever is switched on (page 96).

5 MULTI-ZONE

Lights when the MULTI-ZONE feature is active (page 66).

6 FULL BAND

Lights when the Full Band Phase Control is switched on (page 13).

7 PHASE CONTROL

Lights when the Phase Control or Full Band Phase Control is switched on (page 12).

8 Sound processing indicators

Light according to the active Audio parameter(s) (page 96) and/or ANALOG ATT (page 99).

9 V.SB

Lights during Virtual surround back processing (page 39).

10TUNER indicators

TUNED – Lights when a broadcast is being received.

STEREO – Lights when a stereo FM broadcast is being received in auto stereo mode.

MONO – Lights when the mono mode is set using MPX.

11 SOUND

Lights when any of the Midnight, Loudness or tone controls feature is selected (page 96).

12 Master volume level

Shows the overall volume level. –80dBindicates the minimum level, and +12dB indicates the maximum level.

Lights when the SR+ mode is switched on (page 71).
