2.Tap the New soft key, enter the phone number, URL, or IP address to send the message to, and then tap the Ok soft key.

The phone number, URL, or IP address you entered displays on the screen.

3.Do one of the following:

—To choose a pre-scripted message, tap the Select soft key. From the Message Select screen, tap the message you want.

or

—To compose a custom message, tap the Edit soft key, and then enter your message. (For information on entering data, see Entering Data and Editing Fields on page 1-25.)

4.Tap the Send soft key.

5.Tap to return to the idle screen.
