Upgrading System Software

The DockLINK contains a default operating system, a running operating system, and a file containing configuration items. When you perform a software upgrade, the downloaded file is placed in temporary storage.

You can upgrade system software two ways:

Using a local file on your PC

Using Xmodem through the DockLINK Local Port

Upgrade from TFTP Server is not used with DockLINK.

The SYSTEM CONFIGURATION – SOFTWARE UPGRADE page allows you to download a new configuration to

the DockLINK. On this page, type in the name of the file that you want to download, then click the download button to download the file from your station’s disk drive.
