Packet Reception

Packet Reception

The Packet Reception indicates the DockLINK’s ability to receive packets from distant wireless stations.

Total Packets Received

Total Packets Received counts and stores the total number of packets that the remote wireless stations send to the DockLINK. This number represents all received packets.

Average Receive Rate (Packets/Sec.)

Sometimes packets are received faster than at other times. Average Receive Rate indicates the number of average packets received each second. You should see approximately1500 pps under normal conditions. If you observe the rate staying at 10,000 fps, you may have broadcast storms caused by the 10BaseT Network Interface Card.
