Control Panel

Display Panel

The display panel shows machine status, error messages, and function menus.

	The function items displayed serve as selector keys You can select or specify an
		1
	item by lightly pressing them.

When you select or specify an item on the display panel, it is highlighted thus

. Keys appearing as cannot be used.

Important

❒A force or impact of more than 30 N (about 3 kgf) will damage the display panel.

The copying screen is displayed as default after power on.

The following display shows a machine with options fully installed.

When the Authentication Screen is displayed

When Basic Authentication, Windows Authentication, or LDAP Authentication is set, the authentication screen is displayed. Unless a valid user name and password are entered, operations are not possible with the machine.

Note

❒Consult the User Administrator about your login user name and login pass- word. For details of the various types of user authentication, consult the re- spective administrators.

❒When User Code Authentication is set, the screen for entering a user code is displayed instead. For details, see p.72 “Authentication Information”.
