Display Panel

The display panel shows machine status, error messages, and function menus.

The function items displayed serve as selector keys You can select or specify an

item by lightly pressing them.

 

When you select or specify an item on the display panel, it is highlighted thus

. Keys appearing as cannot be used.

Important

A force or impact of more than 30 N (about 3 kgf) will damage the display panel.

The copying screen is displayed as default after power on.

The following display shows a machine with options fully installed.

When the Authentication Screen is displayed

When Basic Authentication, Windows Authentication, or LDAP Authentication is set, the authentication screen is displayed. Unless a valid user name and password are entered, operations are not possible with the machine.

Note

Consult the User Administrator about your login user name and login pass- word. For details of the various types of user authentication, consult the re- spective administrators.

When User Code Authentication is set, the screen for entering a user code is displayed instead. For details, see p.72 “Authentication Information”.
