Adjusting the Volume

You can control the volume with the Volume Control button or Volume Control program.

Using the Volume Control with the Volume Control Button

For models with the Touch Sensor buttons only

Press the VOL-button ( ) with your finger to turn the volume down. Press

the VOL+button (	) to turn the
volume up.

For models without the Touch Sensor buttons only

Press the User Defined buttons (◀/▶) while holding down the INTERNET button to adjust the volume.

Adjusting the Volume using the Volume Adjustment Program

Click the Volume icon ( ) on the taskbar and slide the volume control bar to adjust the volume.

Mute

Alternatively, double-click on the Volume icon ( ) and adjust the master volume control.

Using the Sound Recorder

The procedures to record sound using the Windows Recorder are described below.

1 Connect a microphone to the microphone jack.

2 Click Start > Control Panel >

Sounds, Speech, and Audio

Devices > Sounds and Audio

Devices.

3 Click Advanced from Volume and then, click Options > Properties.
