Pointing Stick / Button

A user can move the pointer (cursor) by moving the Pointing Stick. In addition, a user can select or execute an item by pressing the Pointing Stick Button.

Moving the Pointer

Move the cursor to a location by moving the Pointing Stick and then release.

Selecting an Item /Executing an Item

•To select an item: Move the pointer over an item and then press the left button. (Click)

•To execute an item: Move the pointer over an item and then quickly press the left button twice. (Double-Click)

Moving an Item (Drag)

Move the pointer over an item and then press the left button. Then move the pointer to a location while holding down the left button and releasing.

To set the Pointer speed or Double-click speed, select Start > Control Panel > Printer And Other Hardware > Mouse.
