Scanning with your machine lets you turn pictures and text into

digital files on your com p u ter. Then you can fax o r e - mail the

files, display th em on you r web site or use th e m to create

projects that you can print using Samsung SmarThru software

or the WIA driver.

• You can check your printer name in the supplied CD-

ROM.

• The maximum res olu ti on that ca n be ach ieved

depends upon various factors, including computer

speed, available disk space, memory, the size of the

image being scanned, and bit dept h setting s . Thus,

depending on your system and what you are scanning,

you may not be able to scan at certain resolutions,

especially using enhan ced dpi.
