to add your

printer to th e n e twork. To add the printer to the

network , enter the p ort name an d the IP ad dress for the

printer.

• To find a shared networ k printer (UNC Path), select

Shared Printer [UNC]

and e n te r the sh ar ed n ame

manually or find a shared printer by clicking the

Browse

button.

After the installation is finished, a window appe ars asking

you to print a test page and to register yourself as a user

of Samsung Printers in order to receive information from

Samsung. If yo u so desire, select the corresponding

checkbox(es) and click

Finish

Otherwise, just click

Finish

NOTE

: After setup is complete, if you r pr inte r dr iv er doesn’t

work pr oper l y, r einstall the p rinte r driver. See “R einstalling

Printer Software” on page 11.

You can choose individual components to install and set a

specific IP address.

and p owered on. For details abou t co nn ecting to the

network, see the supplied printer’s User’s Guide.

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

The CD-ROM should automatically run, and an installation

window appears.
