You need to download Linux software packages from the Samsung website to install the printer software (http://www.samsung.com > find your product > Support or Downloads).

To install other software:

See "Installing the Smart Panel" on page 133.

See "Installing the Printer Settings Utility" on page 134.

Install the Linux driver and add network printer

1Make sure that the machine is connected to your network and powered on. Also, your machine’s IP address should have been set.

2Download the Unified Linux Driver package from the Samsung website.

3Extract the UnifiedLinuxDriver.tar.gz file and open the new directory.

4Double-click the Linux folder > install.sh icon.

5The Samsung installer window opens. Click Continue.

6The add printer wizard window opens. Click Next.

7Select network printer and click Search button.

8The machine’s IP address and model name appears on list field.

9Select your machine and click Next.

Input the printer description and Next.

After the machine is added, click Finish.

When installation is done, click Finish.

Add a network printer

1Double-click the Unified Driver Configurator.

2Click Add Printer.

3The Add printer wizard window opens. Click Next.

4Select Network printer and click the Search button.

5The printer’s IP address and model name appears on list field.

6Select your machine and click Next.

7Enter the printer description and click Next.

8After the machine is added, click Finish.
