SHUTTER SPEED & EXPOSURE

You can set SHUTTER SPEED only in CAMERA mode.

The EXPOSURE function works in both CAMERA and M.REC modes.

SHUTTER SPEED and EXPOSURE values can only be set in the Quick Menu.

SHUTTER SPEED and EXPOSURE are automatically switched and/or deactivated.

1.Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.

2.Move the MENU SELECTOR until you see the ( ) icon, and then push the MENU SELECTOR.

You see a screen on which you can select SHUTTER SPEED and

EXPOSURE.

Move the MENU SELECTOR to select the item you want and then push the MENU SELECTOR.

SHUTTER SPEED can be set to 1/50, 1/120, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000 or 1/10000.

EXPOSURE can be set between 00 and 29.

3.To exit from the setting screen, select the icon ( ) and push the

MENU SELECTOR.

Recommended Shutter speeds when recording

Outdoor sports such as golf or tennis : 1/2000 or 1/4000.

Moving cars or trains or other rapidly moving vehicles such as roller coasters : 1/1000, 1/500 or 1/250

Indoor sports such as basketball : 1/120

Notes

If you want to use the selected shutter speed and exposure value, you should begin the recording with the shutter speed and the exposure adjustment screens displayed on the LCD.

If you manually change the shutter speed and the exposure value when Auto-exposure option is selected, manual changes are applied first.

The image may not seem as smooth when a high shutter speed is set.

The camcorder returns to the auto shutter setting and auto exposure setting when you set the NIGHT CAPTURE to ON, or change to the EASY, SLOW SHUTTER modes.

When recording with a SHUTTER SPEED of 1/1000 or higher, make sure the sun is not shining into the lens.

Puede ajustar la función de velocidad del obturador (SHUTTER SPEED) sólo en la modalidad CAMERA.

La función de exposición (EXPOSURE) funciona con las modalidades CAMERA y M.REC.

Los valores de estas funciones sólo se pueden ajustar en el menú rápido.

Las funciones SHUTTER SPEED y EXPOSURE se activan y/o desactivan automáticamente.

1.Ajuste el interruptor en la modalidad CAMERA.

2.Ajuste el botón SELECTOR MENÚ hasta que se active el icono ( ) y pulse SELECTOR MENÚ.

Aparecerá una pantalla en la que se pueden seleccionar la velocidad del obturador y la exposición.

Gire el botón SELECTOR MENÚ para seleccionar la opción que desee y pulse SELECTOR MENÚ.

Se pueden seleccionar las siguientes velocidades para el obturador: 1/50, 1/120, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000 o 1/10000.

Se pueden seleccionar exposiciones del 00 al 29.

3.Para salir de la pantalla de ajustes, seleccione el icono ( ) y pulse el botón SELECTOR MENÚ.

Velocidades de obturador recomendadas durante la grabación

Deportes en exteriores, como golf o tenis: 1/2000 o 1/4000.

Automóviles, trenes u otros vehículos en movimiento rápido como, por ejemplo, una montaña rusa: 1/1000, 1/500 o 1/250

Deportes de interior, como baloncesto: 1/120

Notas

Si desea utilizar la velocidad del obturador y la exposición seleccionadas, deberá empezar la grabación con las pantallas de ajuste de velocidad del obturador y de exposición en la pantalla LCD.

Si modifica manualmente los valores de la velocidad del obturador y la exposición cuando está seleccionada la modalidad de exposición automática, se activarán primero los cambios manuales.

Es posible que la imagen no resulte homogénea si se selecciona una elevada velocidad de obturación.

La videocámara vuelve a los ajustes de obturador y exposición automáticos al activar la función de grabación nocturna o al cambiar a las modalidades EASY o SLOW SHUTTER.

Al grabar con una velocidad de obturador de 1/1000 o superior, asegúrese de que el sol no incide directamente sobre el objetivo.
