PASSWORD Menu

Description

If the program is password-protected (key icon appears), the user must enter the

 

password to perform certain operations.

The password protects access to the following menus:

zPROGRAMMING (LD STOP mode),

zMONITORING (LD RUN mode),

zCONFIGURATION (STOP mode),

zCLEAR PROG. (LD STOP mode),

zMODULE TRANSFER > MEM (STOP mode).

zMEM TRANSFER > MODULE (LD STOP mode depending on the choice of the programmer (1), FBD STOP mode).

Note: (1) The programmer can configure the application to protect access to this menu in LD mode, .

Activating the password also involves usage limitations in the programming software:

zModification of the program contained in the smart relay,

zRereading of the program contained in the smart relay,

zDestruction by transferring another program.

zMonitoring,

Note: If you lose a password, the solution is to overwrite the program from the programming software; see the on-line help of the programming software.

zTransferring/Clearing the program,
