Entering characters
The
Using these tools, you can type in letters, numbers and special characters.
The hardware keyboard
1.Keys: Enters lowercase letters on respective keys.
2. : When pressed, shifts the mode to enter uppercase letters, or lowercase letters when Caps lock is active.
3.: Enables entry of numbers and symbols printed on the keyboard in yellow.
4. (Caps): Changes the entering mode to enter uppercase (capital) letters (Caps lock).
To cancel the function, press again.
5.: Inserts a space.
6. : Acts as a tab key. On the Edit screen, the cursor moves to the next field.
7. Back space: Deletes the character to the left of the cursor.
(Delete): Deletes the character to the right of the cursor.
8. (Symbol): Opens the symbol window for entry of special characters.
9. (Num): Changes the entering mode to enter numbers (Num lock) and
symbols. To cancel the function, press again.
10. (Carriage return): Starts a new line.
11. (Cut): Cuts the selected text.
(Copy): Copies the selected text.
(Paste): Pastes the cut/copied text.
