Software keyboard
By default, “
” appears at the bottom left of the screen.
Input Methods icons
Input Methods menu icon
Tap the Input Methods menu icon (
) to pop up a list of input methods: Handwriting, Keyboard, Pickboard and Unicode. Tap the input method you prefer. The icon will change to reflect your choice.
•Handwriting ( 
): Enters characters using your handwriting.
•Keyboard ( 
): Enters characters by tapping a QWERTY keyboard on the screen.
•Pickboard( 
): Enters characters by tapping a keyboard similar to a phone keyboard.
• Unicode ( | ): | Enters characters by tapping a list arranged according to their |

Tapping the Input Methods icon alternately pops up the input area and hides the input area.
