Automatic address programming is unsuccessful although the ªAUPº display is lit.

The configuration data (I/O confi- guration, ID codes) of the repla- ced AS-Interface slave do not match the values of the original AS-Interface slave.

The replaced AS-Interface slave does not have the address ª0º.0

Check whether the correct ªrepla- cement slaveº was used. Compare the information from the manufacturer about configuration data.

If you want to replace the original AS-Interface slave with a different type, assign the address with the addressing unit and reconfigure the CP 243-2 (for example by pressing the SET button).

Set the address of the replaced AS-Interface slave with the ad- dressing unit.

The ªCERº LED and the LEDs of active AS-Interface slaves flicker irregularly.
