A. USING THE OVERCASTING FOOT

No. 7 (Stitch Width 5.0)

No. 12, 13, 26 (Stitch Width 5.0-7.0)

Overcasting Foot

Press fabric against the guide plate of the

overcasting foot so that needle falls near the edge of seam.

a. No.7 (Width=5.0) is used for preventing ravelling of fabrics.

b-d. No. 12, 13, 26 can sew overcasting and regular stitches at the same time. Therefore it is

convenient for sewing easy to ravel and stretch fabrics.

_CAUTION: To prevent accidents.

Overcasting foot should be used for sewing patterns 7, 12, 13, 26 only and do not change the stitch width narrower than 5.0. And do not change mirror/reverse setting. It is possible that needle could hit the presser foot and break when sewing other patterns and width.

B.USING THE GENERAL PURPOSE FOOT

No.7, 10

General Purpose Foot

Place fabric so that needle will fall nearest to edge of fabric when using the General Purpose Foot.

e. For narrower zigzag width (Width=2.0-4.5).

f.Use No. 10 when sewing easyto ravel or stretch fabrics.

C. NOTE:

You can also cut offthe excess material after sewing the inside of fabric.

Be careful not to cut thread when cutting excess materials.
