•RAM capacity increased from 128 bytes to 256 bytes

•An additional timer counter 2

•An additional timer interrupt 2

•An additional 8-bit I/O control register (IOCON 0F8H)

•Addition of two bits (bit 5, PT2 and bit 7, PCT) to the priority register (IP 0B8H)
