4 Press . or > repeatedly until the desired track number appears.

5 Press ENTER.

“Complete!” appears. The track selected in step 4 is erased and playback of the following track starts. When you erase the last track, the playback of the previous track starts.

Note

If you erase all the tracks within a group, the group itself is also erased.

Erasing all tracks

— All Erase Function

You can erase all the contents recorded on an MD (the disc title, group titles, all recorded tracks and their titles) at once.

1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch the function to MD.

2 Press MENU/NO.

3 Press . or > repeatedly until “All

Erase?” appears, then press ENTER.

“All Erase??” appears.

4 Press ENTER again.

Note

If you perform the above operation when the Group Function is on, not only the tracks within the group, but all the tracks on the MD are erased.

Erasing a portion of a track

A-B Erase Function

You can specify a portion within a track and erase the portion with ease. You can shift the desired portion by frame*, minute or second intervals.

This function is convenient to erase the unnecessary parts recorded from satellite broadcast or radio programs.

* 1 frame is 1/86 second.
