2Charge the rechargeable battery.

Connect the AC power adaptor to DC IN 3V.

Press x • CANCEL/CHG while the recorder is stopped.

“Charge” flashes, e appears in the display, and charging starts. When charging is completed, the battery indication disappears.

Full charging of a completely discharged rechargeable battery takes about 2 hours.

Disconnect the AC power adaptor.

For models supplied with the AC plug adaptor

If the AC power adaptor does not fit the wall outlet, use the AC plug adaptor.

Note

Charge the battery at a temperature of +5°C (+41°F) to +40°C (+104°F). The charging time may vary, depending on the surrounding temperature.
