When this unit is moved from a cold place to a warmer place, or operated in high humidity, condensation may form on the optical pickup. This is called condensation, and if the unit is operated in this state, it may make correct playback impossible.
Note the following points, to avoid problems with condensation.
•When moving the unit under conditions in which condensation is likely, first insert the disc, and close the lid on the disc slot.
•If when you move the on/standby switch to the ` position the indication “HUMID” appears in the status display, do not insert a disc until the indication disappears.
