Call Restrictions

You can restrict the calls your device makes and receives. When calls are restricted, calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device.

1.From standby mode, select Menu > Settings > Security.

2.Enter the lock code, and select OK. See “Changing the Lock Code” on page 63.

3.Select Call restrictions.

4.Select the types of calls you wish to restrict:

Restrict outgoing calls—calls cannot be made.

Restrict incoming calls—calls cannot be received.

5.Select Blocked numbers or Allowed numbers.

6.Select an option: Select or Add restriction.

Note:

When calls are restricted, calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device.

Resetting Your Phone

Resetting the phone restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display settings. The contacts list, Call Logs, Scheduler, and Messaging are not affected.

To reset your phone:

1.From standby mode, select Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings.

2.Enter the lock code, and select OK. See “Accessing the Security Menu” on page 60.
