84 Section 2G: Using Contacts
Adding a New Contact Your Sprint PCS Phone can store up to 500 contacts. Each
contact can store up to a total of 5 phone numbers.
To add a new entry:
1. Enter the phone number from standby mode and
press Save.

Press Names > Options > Add new.
- or -
Press Menu > Contacts > Names > Options > Add new.
2. Enter the name for the entry and press OK. (See
“Entering Text” on page34.)
3. Enter the phone number for the new entry and
press OK.
After you have saved the number, the new contact entry is
displayed. (See “Changing Contacts Entry Options” on
page86.)
Adding a Phone Number to a Contact
To add a phone number to an entry:
1. Display a contact and select Details to display the
entries for that contact, and press Options.
2. Use the navigation key to scroll down and select
Add detail > Number.
3. Highlight the desired number type and press Select.
4. Enter the new phone number and press OK. (A
confirmation displays.)
5. Press Back to return to Contacts.
