*1.The factory settings for enabling/disabling the auto-cutter are as follows. Models without auto-cutter (SP2300 Series): Invalid (Switch 1-4 = on) Models with auto-cutter (SP2500 Series): Valid (Switch 1-4 = off)

Note: If the auto-cutter is valid on models without this function, a mechanical error will occur. Do not enable.

(This setting determines the default print range and number of digits as follows.)

When valid, the status occurrence conditions are as follows.

Star mode: All status occurrences enabled.

ESC/POS mode: Online/offline factors only. (Same conditions as <GS>a 2).

*4 Disable if using #36 pin (nSelectIn/1284 Active) interface for functions other than IEEE1284.
