CookSmart Cooking Chart – Upper Oven

CS1 - Breads, Desserts

Metal pans become hot quickly and yield more browning.

Items cooked in glass may require more time.

Place food in center of oven for adequate air circulation.

Biscuits and cookies should be left on pan for 3 to 4 minutes after removal from oven.

Timings on the chart are a guide.

Scratch and frozen pies and cobblers work best in this mode but will need additional time. See chart.
