Features of e-STUDIO165/205

A black-and-white copier the e-STUDIO165/205 has realized the copying speed of 16 copies

per minute*1(the e-STUDIO165) and also the copying speed of 20 copies per minute*1 (the e-STUDIO205). Both of them can be a printer and a scanner when they are connected to your PC with a USB cable*2, *3.

The e-STUDIO165/205 also has functions as a Fax, a network scanner and a network printer, namely, it remarkably saves time and space at your workplace.

Lightweight and space-saving equipment with more emphasis on basic functions

yThe receiving tray is relocated to the equipment’s inner side, occupying as little space as possible.

yOperability of the control panel has been upgraded with its larger buttons and LCD screen.

yA wide range of paper sizes from A3 to A5-R are acceptable.

yThe bypass tray equipped as a standard unit makes copying on various media types such as overhead transparencies possible.

yScanning data with a TWAIN driver is enabled as a standard function.

yA rich variety of convenient copying functions are adopted.

yThe Reversing Automatic Document Feeder (RADF) / Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) dramatically saves the time when you need to copy massive amounts of originals.

yThe Scanner Upgrade Kit promotes paperless at your office.

yThe Fax Kit can add a function as a Fax machine.

yThe Network Printer Kit works as a shared printer at your office.

yThe Paper Feed Unit (PFU), the Paper Feed Pedestal (PFP) and the Drawer Module can add maximum 4 more drawers.

yThe Expansion Memory can increase the maximum number of originals which can be scanned in one go when the finishing mode is used.

Ecological energy-saving design

yA toner recycling system which produces no used toner is adopted.

yIts warm-up time is shortened to approx. 25 seconds.

yThe low power mode, which reduces unnecessary electric power by having the fuser unit temperature lowered while the equipment is left inactive, is adopted.

yThe sleep mode, which maintains the smallest possible power consumption during the equipment’s inactive period after it has not been used within a specified period of time, is adopted.

*1 These speeds are realized in the non-sort mode, when A4 originals placed in a portrait direction are con- tinuously copied and the Reversing Automatic Document Feeder (optional) / Automatic Document Feeder (optional) is not used.

*2 When this equipment is used as a printer, the co-packed software needs to be installed into your PC.

*3 When the equipment is used as a network printer with the Network Printer Kit (optional) installed, it can- not be connected with your PC with a USB cable and used as a local printer.
