This section describes preinstalled utilities and tells how to start them. For details on operation, refer to each utility’s online manual, help files or
readme.txt files
TOSHIBA Assist | TOSHIBA Assist is a graphical user interface that |
| provides access to specific tools, utilities and |
| applications that make the use and configuration |
| of the computer easier. |

HW Setup utility | To start the utility, click the Windows Start button, |
| point to All Programs, click TOSHIBA, click |
| Utilities, and select HWSetup icon. |

TOSHIBA DVD | This software is provided for playback of DVD- |
PLAYER | Video. (Is preinstalled with some models) |

| menu bar as follows. |

TOSHIBA ConfigFree ConfigFree is a suite of utilities to allow easy control of communication devices and network connections. ConfigFree also allows you to find communication problems and create profiles for easy switching between location and communication networks.
You can boot ConfigFree from the menu bar as follows.
Start→ All Programs → TOSHIBA→ ConfigFree
