19. Touch-Screen Features

19.1.2Touch-Screen Keyboard and Numeric Keypad

Select or touch an entry field to access the keyboard - or - in the case of number fields, a numeric keypad. Note that you can select Shift for capital letters and the @ sign, etc.

When entering a phone number on the keypad, use ONLY ten digits (area code + phone number). Do NOT enter a 1 before the area code.

19.1.3Incoming Calls, Outgoing Calls and Voice Mail Logs

From Calls & Memos:

Select Calls & Memos from the Home screen for a summary of Missed Calls, Memos, and Voice Mail waiting for you. You may select Dial to dial the person who last called you (if Caller ID information is available for the Caller).

From Menu:

From Home, select Menu, and then select Calls for your Incoming Calls, Outgoing Calls and Voice Mail Logs. The Incoming Calls screen appears. Select the In, Out or Voice Mail tab:

In tab: When the In tab is selected, you have a view of all Incoming Calls and related data. View your most recent 50 Incoming Calls. Each entry in the Log represents a Call and the date and time it was received. It also contains the Caller’s name and phone number (if you subscribe to Verizon Caller ID and the information is available).

Out tab: When the Out tab is selected, you have a view of all Outgoing Calls and related data. View your most recent 50 Outgoing Calls. Each entry in the Log represents a Call and the date and time it was made.

Voice Mail tab: This feature works with Verizon Voice Mail Service. You must be a current Verizon Home Voice Mail subscriber to use this feature. If you are a current subscriber, select Set-up. This will allow you to enter in your Verizon Voice Mail Access Number. Once you have entered your Voice Mail access number and selected Done to save, use the Dial Voice Mail selection to check your messages. Note: You can insert a comma following the access number entry to designate a pause in the number sequence.

For Verizon Home Voice Mail subscribers who also subscribe to the Verizon iobi Home service, the Voice Mail tab will display an on-screen visual list of your Voice Mail messages, and you can listen to them in any order.
