The way these features are accessed depends on both the C55 printer driver that you are using and your operating system. Not all the features described in this chapter are available in all operating systems. Use the descriptions in this chapter as a general guide to help you take advantage of the features available.
The information in this chapter is organized by printer driver type (by the features specific to the PCL 5C printer drivers and the features specific to the Adobe PostScript printer drivers). Not all features are available for all drivers. Refer to the section that matches the printer driver you use. The C55 supports only the PCL 5C printer drivers (unless you have the optional Adobe PostScript installed), and the C55mp supports both Adobe PostScript or PCL 5C printer drivers. Select Help in the C55 printer drivers for more information.
NOTE: The C55 can be upgraded with the Adobe PostScript Kit and
additional memory to be PostScript enabled. See “Chapter 8: Optional Equipment” for ordering information.
