4.Once the outboard motor is supported with the tilt support shaft, push the “
” (down) side of the power trim and tilt switch to retract the trim rods. NOTICE:
Make sure that the trim rods retracts completely during mooring. This pro- tects the rods from marine growth and corrosion, which could damage the power trim and tilt mechanism. [ECM00252]
