Chapter 8 Basic Setting

8.2 System Information

In the navigation panel, click Basic Setting > System Info to display the screen as shown. You can check the firmware version number and monitor the Switch’s temperature, fan speed and voltage in this screen.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

LABEL	DESCRIPTION
System	This field displays the descriptive name of the Switch for identification
Name	purposes.
ZyNOS F/W	This field displays the version number of the Switch 's current firmware
Version	including the date created.
Ethernet	This field refers to the Ethernet MAC (Media Access Control) address of the
Address	Switch.
Power Source Status (Note: This section is not available for all MGS models.)
Power	Your Switch supports AC Prefer which has the Switch use AC power when
Source Mode	both AC power and DC power are available. Once AC power is not
	available, the Switch automatically uses DC power and changes back when
	the AC power is restored.
