Check the client A’s IP address. If it did not receive the IP address 172.16.1.18, make sure:

1Client A is connected to the Switch’s port 2 in VLAN 102.

2You configured the correct VLAN ID, port number and system name for DHCP relay on both the DHCP server and the Switch.

3You clicked the Save link on the Switch to have your settings take effect.

6.3How to Use PPPoE IA on the Switch

You want to configure PPPoE Intermediate Agent on the switch A to pass a subscriber C’s information to a PPPoE server S. There is another switch B between switch A and server S. Switch B is connected to switch A. In this way, the PPPoE server S can identify the subscriber C and may apply different settings to it.
